We use latex balloons that are made from 100%, biodegradable latex.
Latex balloons are not plastic and are made from natural rubber which is biodegradable.
Breakdown of your balloon
When your balloons start to breakdown they can become covered in a musky, velvety finish and this is the first step in the natural breakdown of the balloon.
Don't let it go
Keep balloons attached to weights and never release the balloons into the air. We do not support or condone the deliberate release of balloons.
Pin it and Bin it
Dispose of balloons responsibly, pop them and put them in the bin. Balloons make up a very small proportion of marine debris and the balloon industry is committed to reducing any potential impact of balloon litter on marine life.
Little ones
Do not leave small children unaccompanied with latex balloons. Latex balloons, either popped or whole present a choking hazard for small children.
PEBA AUSTRALIA'S AIM IS TO MAKE AUSTRALIA THE FIRST CONTINENT IN THE WORLD TO BAN THE DELIBERATE RELEASE OF BALLOONS.
